[3.0.x] Support Forum • Post Approval Problem

Hey everyone. I've recently encountered a problem where a new user made a post (which needed approval), however his post got deleted somehow. Even so, the approval symbol still shows up on the Index page.

When I click on the symbol, it takes me to this (normal procedure)

However when I click on the post, it shows me this.

I tried purging the site's cache, but it didn't help. I also tried removing him from the newly registered user group, but it didn't help. The only other thing I can think to do is delete the person's account. He doesn't have a single post, so I don't think it would matter much, but I am hoping to prevent this again in the future. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh and Happy New Year!!
